Impact Venture Accelerator Program (IVAP) for Southeast Asia
Are you part of an outstanding, early-stage social venture operating in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia or the Philippines? If so, the IVAP for Southeast Asia is looking for applicants like you. The IVAP is an 8-24 month program that provides hands-on business consulting and customized financial support to outstanding, early-stage social ventures with a high potential for scale and positive social impact. The program is being run by LGT Venture Philanthropy in partnership with local institutions. Deadline to apply is March 5th, 2012.
Screw Business as Usual Competition
Sir Richard has launched a competition looking for the next ideas or businesses that are a force for good and are screwing business as usual. Submit your story or brief description of a business or social enterprise in action anywhere in the world. An inspiration – in words, thoughts or on film – that shows a new way of creating or transforming a business, or will create a consumer movement equalling demand for better products or services. Montreal International Conference on Degrowth in the Americas: Call for poster presentations from students
Interested in degrowth (the new social and economic paradigm that challenges the growth–driven economic model on which existing policies are based)? If so, consider submitting a poster presentation at the Montreal International Conference on Degrowth in the Americas (May 13-19, 2012).
